Where the Magic Comes From: The Vision Behind STP Experiences

When I first started STP, it was just me, a camera, and a fire in my chest to create something bigger than myself. I didn’t have a studio. I didn’t have a team. I didn’t have a roadmap.

What I did have was a deep knowing—that women deserved to see themselves through a lens of power, softness, beauty, and truth.

In those early days—back in 2010 until 2020—I was working a full-time job, a part-time job, and pouring every spare moment into photography. Boudoir began in the living room of my tiny apartment, then slowly expanded into hotel rooms, in-home setups, Airbnbs, and even my garage. Every step forward was scrappy, resourceful, and absolutely full of heart.

I gave everything I had to building something meaningful.
And I never stopped learning.

I’ve flown across the country more than once to train with artists I deeply admire. I’ve invested thousands into education, lighting, posing, storytelling, client experienceall so I could create something that felt transformative.

Today, STP is something I used to only dream about.

We have a full-blown studio.
A size-inclusive client closet with over 600 pieces.
A team of incredible artists.
And most importantly, a community of women who are learning to show up for themselves—maybe for the first time in years.

But even now, what happens inside these studio walls still stops me in my tracks.

We’re not just doing photo shoots.
We’re creating transformations.
Experiences.

Moments
that linger long after the makeup comes off.

The shifts I get to witness are real. They’re raw. They’re powerful.

Women walk in nervous, unsure, carrying the weight of a thousand expectations—and they walk out lighter.
Freer.
More alive.

It’s not just a session.
It’s a return to self.

And truthfully… this work has changed my life too.

Getting a front-row seat to women falling in love with themselves has rewritten everything I thought I knew about confidence, connection, and purpose.
It’s softened me, stretched me, humbled me—and reminded me just how lucky I am to do something this meaningful.
Something that can’t be measured in likes or dollars.

The STP experience didn’t happen by chance.
It was built—intentionally and relentlessly.

It came from years of pouring my heart into this.
From refining the vision.
From staying up late sketching set ideas that would set your soul on fire.
From showing up on the hard days.
From learning the difference between what looks good and what feels good.

It came from trusting myself enough to say:
I know what the fuck I’m doing.
And trusting that my version of boudoir would reach the women who needed it most.

The sultry sets.
The soft moments.
The signature hype energy that fills every corner of our space.

That’s the magic.
That’s STP.

Yes, we’ve grown.
The team has evolved.
People have come and gone.

But through it all, the vision, the energy, the soul of this studio?
That’s never changed.

Because it’s not just part of the brand—it’s who I am.

If you’ve ever looked at your images and finally seen yourself…
If you’ve stood taller, laughed louder, or felt a little braver after your session…
You’ve felt the STP difference.

This isn’t just a business.
This is more than photography.
This is a movement.

And I’m just getting started.

- XOXO, Samantha
