What to expect
In the “Curling Techniques: Perfecting Your Hair Styling Skills,” you’ll dive into the art of curling hair with precision and creativity. Join our expert team of hair and makeup artists as they demonstrate various curling methods, from classic curls to modern waves. You’ll learn essential tips and tricks for achieving long-lasting, salon-quality results at home. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this class will provide hands-on guidance and valuable insights to elevate your curling techniques. No photography will be involved—just pure, focused instruction on mastering the perfect curl.
What to bring
To make the most of the class, please bring the following supplies:
Brush or Comb: For detangling and sectioning your hair.
Curling Iron or Straightener: Bring your own to practice the techniques being taught. Our stylists recommend using the Hot Tools Brand. (Ulta offers a wide variety of options, as does Amazon.)
Heat Protectant Spray: To protect your hair from heat damage.
Hair Clips or Sectioning Clips: To organize and manage sections of hair while curling.
Hair Elastics: For sectioning and securing hair.
Hairspray or Styling Product: To help set and hold your curls.
Mirror: A small, portable mirror if the class setting doesn’t provide one.
Notebook and Pen: For taking notes on techniques and tips.
These items will help you actively participate and practice the techniques being demonstrated.
