It is still absolutely UNREAL to me!
I had my 1st full experience in October 2023. Having never worked with Sam (other than creeping on her work for 10+ years) and never done anything like this, I was nervous and hella anxious!
I signed up for her model call, and immediately after I applied, I asked myself, "What were you thinking? What did you get yourself into? You're NEVER gonna get it". I shit you not, not even 10 min later, I get an email from Sam "Let's do it, babe!"! Like, she picked me, ME!
The girl who’s never been below a size 18, the loner, the quiet kid, and, of course, the kid picked last in gym class or, hell, never even picked in gym class!
I was nervous going into it because I've never had much, if any, of a positive body image regarding myself. Like, yeah, I know I'm cute, but in my head, I've always been a "fat girl" and always made to feel like one.
After flawless hair and makeup application, I arrived at the studio, and Samantha and I were instant besties. Without saying much, she got me 100% and didn't see the fat girl. Not once when I was in the studio did I feel like that girl I constantly felt like growing up. I didn't give a fuck that i had never been below a size 18! I didn't give a fuck that i never got picked last in gym class. All those intrusive thoughts weren't there. I had the BEST time, and my few hours behind the camera went WAY TOO FAST.
The last thing to top off the day was my viewing! Nikki is such a vibe! For realz. Ultimate hype girl and helps you figure out all the beautiful products to showcase your awesomeness! And then, there were the photos. My confidence is screaming through these photos. Imma model bitch!!!
I loved it soo much that i ended up booking another model call for a few months later and had an even better time than my last! I didn't think that could be possible, but it was! Sam hella HELLA spoiled me, and I cannot wait til I get my products and digitals back so I can relive the experience over and over again.
