I have been doing photography for over 10 years, and it's so precious to me because I love helping people feel better about themselves, inside and out. We ALL struggle with self-image, and I want to help overcome as much of that as possible.
I love the WOW factor. I love delivering images and having clients say, "I can't believe that's me! I have never felt so beautiful in my entire life!" or "These actually look like US—I'm obsessed!"

How This All Started
I started this business because I knew what it felt like to be overlooked, underestimated, and stuck in a cycle of trying to "blend in" when all I really wanted was to feel seen and celebrated. As a woman who's navigated self-image struggles, motherhood, and all the messy, beautiful layers in between, I realized there were too many people—especially women and moms—who never got to see their own magic reflected back at them.
The moments that changed everything:
For boudoir, it was during an early session when a client spent the entire first half apologizing—for her body, for not knowing how to pose, for simply existing in front of my camera. But when she saw her images, she cried—not out of hate, but because for the first time, she saw herself as beautiful and powerful.
For families, it was the constant pattern of parents—especially moms—being behind the camera, never in front. Always waiting to "look better" or "feel ready" to exist in photos with their kids. But those kids already see their parent as their favorite person, their home. They're not waiting for perfect. They just want you.

This Business Has BLOSSOMED Over the Years
I went from shooting in hotels or my client's homes to our incredible commercial studio in Fargo, ND. I handled ALL aspects of my business from top to bottom for the longest time, but in 2022, I realized I needed helping hands to reach as many people as possible!
Now, we are a team of amazing women here at STP! Our entire staff is made up of female entrepreneurs, and I am so blessed not only to work my business full-time but also to provide jobs to other women.
How it Started vs. How it's Going
2007-2008: Attended college on & off (because you "must" go to college to be successful! Ew.)
2010: I was gifted my first professional camera & started my photography business
2012-2014: I worked 2 jobs with photography as my side hustle
2013: Had my first paid wedding photography client!
2014-2021: Photographed Boudoir in hotels & local Air B&Bs
2020: I quit my 9-5 job and started attending education courses
2021: Purchased my first house & used my garage as my studio
2022: Opened my first studio! 🍑
2023: Moved into a new studio space twice the size & exited the wedding scene
